HANDMADE
ALUMAH is 100% textile art, handmade by one of the indigenous communities of southern Mexico, as a cultural practice that generates a social fabric among its members due to the fact that multiple affective, economic, political, historical ties are captured in its fabrics, natural and social through the abstraction of their worldview.
TESTIMONIAL
The Story
After almost 10 years working in the world of fashion between Europe, the United States and Mexico, the photographer and filmmaker Gianmarco Boccaccio, eager to offer his clients a unique, customizable, durable and handmade product, decides to create the ALUMAH brand. Bringing for the first time a millenary textile experience that can give more peace and positive energy to those who use it.
ALUMAH Collection, wants to be one more channel to support the artisan work of indigenous communities and thus donate part of the economic proceeds to the promotion, defense and exercise of the rights of indigenous children and young people from Latin America, for the improvement of their quality of life.
